A Better Legal Learning Curriculum

NILAS Pre-Law Program
NILAS Pre-Law will teach you how to think like a law student by instructing you on how to develop and use the skills and methods of the best law students in the country.

What will you learn in the PRE-LAW program?

  1. How do we learn the law?
  2. What is briefing?
  3. How do you really read a case?
  4. What kind of notes do I really need from class?
  5. How do I use the information from the reading and from Class?
  6. What sort of preparation do I need to go to class and be a top student?
  7. Can I really get the top grades?
NILAS Pre-Law began many years ago with Professor Burt Brody at the University of Denver College of law.  Professor Brody pioneered legal academic support and is still teaching.

Professor Brody developed a Summer Prep Program for incoming law students who where in need of some additional help in getting started.

Today, NILAS has built on the pedagogy by creating a  curriculum based on Professor Brody's success.  NILAS uses a combination of teaching methods to prepare the first year law student for the rigors of legal academic life.

Unlike any other program offered today, the NILAS approach gives you an edge by helping you develop the skills and tools needed instead of academic or legal lectures.

Give yourself or your student the best chance of success and enroll in the NILAS PRE-LAW Program today!
